If you don't get enough help here, try the dedicated Reaper forum.there's plenty of specific advice there: This is why I asked about the device being powered up and connected via USB You should also expect to see in the similar outputs pair of boxes immediately below for "Output range" your Steinberg device 1 and 2 outs (for either left/right headphone or speaker output).something like ' Analog 1 Out, Analog 2 Out' ? Now you go to Options>Preferences> Audio> Device and it should show what your screenshot shows.and in addition, inputs 1 to 4 (or however many inputs your interface has) in the 'first' and 'last' input dropdown arrow boxes I connected a friend's UR22 to my Lenovo laptop with no troubles.just follow the steps in the Steinberg easy-start manual, maybe you've missed a step ?

Are you running it via USB power or with a mains transformer.maybe it prefers to see one or the other being used ? So you've installed the UR44 driver, the interface is actually connected via USB and powered up ? Make sure the Reaper transport is in non-record, non play mode. Whatever inputs your interface has should be available in the Input > Mono tab. If that's the case, create a track, right-click the record enable button, and select the input from the list. but when you say that you don't see "inputs", do you mean inputs as in selecting the "mic 1" input? Ive downloaded TOOLS for UR44 V2.1.2 for Windows and also tried theĪny help or redirection to an existing thread on this would be much appreciatedI use Reaper with a Mac, so my reply might be way off with how it connects to Windows. however the menu is blank, there are no inputs to choose from and this is where I'm stuck. From here I believe I should be able to select my inputs in the dropdown menu. Upon opening reaper I'm asked to select an audio device which I select ASIO for audio system and Yamaha Steinberg ASIO for ASIO Driver and move onto to checking the box for 'Enable Inputs'. Just picked up my Samsung Notebook 5 NP530E5M and I'm working on getting my Steinberg UR44 setup for recording some guitar tracks with Reaper on Windows 10. did some searching first but couldn't find what I need help with. First post here so sorry if this is in the wrong section.
